Abstract

Starting from the end of 2019, the world has been struck by the so-called COVID-19 pandemic, where Indonesia has also experienced the impacts of this virus outbreak that led to changes in various sectors, including the field of education. This COVID-19 pandemic has adversely affected many people, especially students who are pursuing education at various levels. Everything has shifted online, and learning has become predominantly virtual or what we call 'online learning' or 'distance learning.' This situation includes Dusun Pandanarum in Kemlokolegi Village, Baron Sub-district, Nganjuk Regency. Many parents of students in this area have expressed concerns about their children's education. Ineffective learning methods have caused students to become increasingly disinterested and indifferent towards their studies. As a result, students have become more focused on using electronic devices or playing with friends, causing parents to worry excessively about their children's well-being. Motivated by this, the author took the initiative to establish a learning support program through home visits to facilitate students in re-engaging with their studies. The author also collaborated with the students' parents to provide encouragement and motivation for students to continue learning. Through these efforts, the author successfully achieved the predetermined targets. In this learning support program, the author utilized the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) approach, aiming to enhance students' learning motivation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout the learning support process, significant improvements were observed in students' learning attitudes and comprehension, particularly in Dusun Pandanarum in Kemlokolegi Village, Baron Sub-district, Nganjuk Regency."
