The term Barocanomics derives from the Arabic word “Barakah”, meaning blessing and prosperity, combined with economics to represent the integration of ethical and spiritual values into the discipline of economics. This journal provides a scholarly platform for researchers, academicians, and practitioners to explore ideas, empirical studies, and innovations that promote justice, inclusivity, and sustainability in accordance with Islamic principles.
The journal publishes conceptual and empirical research focusing on topics such as Islamic finance and banking, ethical business practices, zakat and waqf management, Islamic social finance, halal industry, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development based on maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah.
