This study examines the spiritual–economic impact of the NU Preneur program on mustahik (zakat beneficiaries), focusing not only on measurable economic outcomes but also on the transformation of spiritual and psychological perceptions of sustenance (rezeki), gratitude (syukur), and happiness (sa‘adah). Unlike conventional zakat studies that emphasize financial empowerment, this research explores the non-material dimension of well-being barakah as a distinctive aspect of Islamic socio-economic experience. Using a mixed qualitative–quantitative approach, data were collected from 42 beneficiaries of Lembaga Amil Zakat Infaq dan Shadaqah Nahdlatul Ulama (LAZISNU) in Nganjuk, East Java. The quantitative analysis employed pre–post perception scales of economic satisfaction and spiritual gratitude, while qualitative interviews explored emotional and theological interpretations of barakah after program participation. The findings reveal that participation in NU Preneur significantly increased the beneficiaries’ income stability, sense of gratitude, and perceived divine blessing in daily life. Beyond economic upliftment, mustahik reported deeper spiritual awareness that redefined their understanding of success from material accumulation toward meaningful and blessed sustenance. The study contributes to Islamic Behavioral Economics and Well-being Studies by proposing an integrated framework of spiritual–economic well-being, where barakah acts as a mediating construct linking economic empowerment and subjective happiness
