Abstract
This study aims to analyze the leadership of the Head of Madrasah Tsanawiyah at the Modern Islamic Boarding School Darul Hikmah Medan. The research method used is qualitative. The results of this study show that the leadership style of the Head of Madrasah Tsanawiyah at the Modern Islamic Boarding School Darul Hikmah Medan emphasizes teacher participation in decision-making, although there are still challenges in the consistency and inclusivity of this participation. The Head of Madrasah has made efforts to increase teacher motivation through the provision of physical facilities and rewards, but responsiveness to achievements and feedback needs improvement. Effective communication is maintained through regular meetings, but improvements in assertiveness and conflict management are still needed. Overall, ongoing efforts to improve managerial processes, communication, and more effective decision-making demonstrate a commitment to strengthening the quality of education at this madrasah.
