This study examines the role of mothers as Madrasah Al- Ula in shaping Islamic character education for millennial children in Dusun Koripan, Desa Kampungbaru. The primary aim is to understand how mothers, as the first educators in the family, contribute to the development of Islamic values and character in children. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observations, in- depth interviews with mothers, children, and local community members, and documentation of daily practices. The study finds that mothers in this community actively engage in imparting religious and moral education from pregnancy through early childhood. Despite facing challenges such as limited time and knowledge of formal character education methods, many mothers succeed in instilling values of honesty, discipline, and respect through everyday actions and religious practices. The research concludes that mothers play an essential role in character formation, but additional support through training and community collaboration is necessary to enhance their effectiveness. This study contributes to understanding the intersection of family roles, Islamic education, and character development in the millennial era
