Qur’anica: Journal of Qur’anic Revelation and Society is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary academic journal that aims to be a leading forum for high-quality scholarship on the Qur’an and its role in society. Qur’anica specifically seeks to explore how the Qur’anic revelation (tanzīl) engages with, informs, and interacts with contemporary social, cultural, ethical, political, and intellectual challenges.
The journal invites contributions that bridge classical Qur’anic sciences (tafsīr, ulūm al-Qur’ān, nahw, balāghah) and modern approaches (hermeneutics, critical theory, sociology, philosophy, political science, gender studies, etc.). Emphasis is placed on research demonstrating how Qur’anic guidance can be contextualized, applied, and reflected in societal life.
